About “Die Gilde-Synchronverband”

Synchronverband e.V. – Die Gilde represents the interests of the German dubbing industry as a whole. We aim to promote those production processes and workflows that are most suitable to deliver high quality German dubbed versions.

The members of our professional organization – creatives, trades, and companies – work in every area of dubbing. We respond to the current challenges and developments in the market based on the values that we have set down in our Code of Ethics and Conduct. We train new talent, provide platforms for exchanging information, and support each other as colleagues. We see our work above all as teamwork.

Our goal is to increase the visibility of dubbing as an art, a business, and a craft, both within the audiovisual media localization community, and in the general public. Exceptional work in the field is honored at the Synchronpreis.
